We’ve got 2 big announcements today, including a surprise drop!

Announcement One

I have heard from multiple people, including fans at Fan Expo Anaheim, that they wanted a mystery item for my Absolute Batman #1 variant. I didn’t do mystery items when I dropped the book back in 2024 so, due to the animated series announcement, I thought we could make up for it now!

Available immediately on my site is the regular mystery item and the premium oversized giclée mystery item.

Also available are 20 remark opportunities! Remarks are strictly one per customer, and any multi-remark orders will be cancelled and returned to stock.

All mystery items come signed by both Scott and me. I’ve already seen these mystery items, so trust me—they’re beautiful, and the quality is outstanding.

Announcement Two

ComicSketchArt, Doug Peters, and I are excited to announce that Dexter Soy has officially signed on with CSA and will begin dropping his exclusive Absolute Batman variants on my site starting with issue #24!

Dexter joins Jock in our expanding roster of talent as we aim to help artists and creators reach a wider audience while allowing them and the fans to benefit from our partnership.

We will be working closely with Dexter to provide you with even more amazing artwork that you’ve come to expect, along with our smooth drop model and the same benefits Brigade members enjoy for mine and Jock’s drops.

We’re doing away with the "flood the market" model for his previous drops and focusing on making his variants fair, easy, and desirable while making sure Dexter is the main person benefiting from your fandom. Because it’s all about the fans and the creators, as it should be!

We’re also working with Dexter to fly him in from the Philippines for New York Comic Con 2026—his first visit to the States in 7 years! We’ll be organizing and announcing signing opportunities as well so people who can’t attend can still get their hands on a book and/or his autograph.
